Strategic Development Lead (full time) role - hybrid working
We are looking for an exceptional person to work as the Strategic Development Lead in the Strategic Development Team. You will take a leading role in the design and delivery of promises and other strategic developments into meaningful outcomes that our community recognizes. You will also help shape key Trust portfolios of work such as addressing inequalities, relationship management, and community investment.
Reporting to the Deputy Head of Strategic Development, you will be enthusiastic, innovative, and highly organized. You will need to have significant experience of working at a senior level in the field of strategy and/or the NHS and have broad knowledge of how the NHS operates.

Main duties of the job
The post holder will be responsible for:
1. Working closely with leads and teams from across the organization to successfully deliver the wider organizational strategic vision, Promises, and outcomes.
2. Ensuring the development and introduction of an environment that encourages visionary planning, collaborative working, a delivery-focused approach, and continuous improvement and innovation.
3. Leading on all areas associated with the Strategic Development portfolio, providing professional direction, management, and guidance to inform decision-making and initiate new ways of working.
4. Maintaining a current awareness of internal and external drivers for the delivery of our strategy.
5. Identifying and interpreting national good practice and guidance that can inform the delivery of Strategic Objectives and Promises.

Person Specification
Qualifications
* Educated to Master's degree level in an appropriate area of transferable relevance.
* Evidence of continued professional development.
Experience
* Proven and recent track record in strategic planning and delivery.
* Experience of successfully working with clinicians from various backgrounds and seniority.
* Demonstrable experience to evidence a reputation for successful delivery in a management role with positive credibility.
