EDUCATION WELFARE OFFICER Starting April 2025 Grade 6 £32,654 - £38,626 (actual salary £28,336 - £33,518) Term-time only plus one week 37 hours per week., 07:30 - 15:30 (15:00 finish Friday) Based at Meadow Park School, Abbey Road, Coventry CV3 4BD An exciting opportunity has arisen at Meadow Park School for a motivated and flexible individual to lead the Attendance Team in supporting children whose education is at risk due to attendance related issues. We are seeking to appoint an experienced Education Welfare Officer to help families improve their children’s access to learning and enable all children and young people to maximise their educational opportunities; to take particular note of attendance issues with vulnerable groups especially Looked After Children, SEN, FSM/PP and EAL, implementing effective action where needed. Under the direction of the Deputy Headteacher you will assess need, plan interventions and evaluate outcomes against agreed objectives.
