Job Title Statutory and Tax Accountant Job Description Statutory & Tax Accountant To ensure compliant, effective and efficient statutory process in the UK&I. Your role: Stay updated with changes on statutory rules and regulations Translate IFRS/GAAP to Local GAAP via statutory adjustments · Provide accurate, completed & timely data for statutory reporting, fiscal reporting and other requirements Manage on local level Operating Model for Statutory Reporting/Corporate Income Taxes Contact point for external tax compliance partners and local authorities Manages Statutory and Periodic Internal Audits. First contact point for external auditors · Fulfills requests from regulatory & tax authorities- provide support during fiscal audits. Co-ordination with Accounting Operations, Tax Group, MTM, on any other statutory accounting related activities Constantly look for improvement opportunities in the area of direct responsibility, but not limited to and drive implementation (compliance, quality and process efficiency) Complete Internal Controls work according to Internal Control Standards( ICS ) tool on a timely and accurate basis and supervise ICS tasks carried out by other members Support and drive standardization/harmonization of Statutory Accounting ways of working across regions Deliver on the appropriate KPI’s How we work together We believe that we are better together than apart.
