Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Field Supervisor to oversee operations within our homecare environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for providing exceptional senior care. This role involves ensuring that risk assessments are completed, care plans are effectively implemented, staff are supported, and the highest standards of service are maintained.
Duties
1. Supervise and lead a team of care staff, ensuring they adhere to best practices in elderly care.
2. Develop, implement, and review care plans tailored to the individual needs of service users.
3. Communicate effectively with team members, service users, and their families to foster a supportive environment.
4. Conduct regular assessments of staff performance and provide constructive feedback for improvement.
5. Drive initiatives to enhance the quality of care provided within the facility.
6. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations as well as organisational policies.
7. Utilise IT systems for record keeping, reporting, and communication purposes.
8. Participate in training sessions to continuously improve personal knowledge and skills as well as those of the team.
Requirements
1. Proven experience in supervising within domiciliary care or similar setting is essential.
2. Strong leadership abilities with a focus on team development and motivation.
3. In-depth knowledge of elderly care practices and relevant legislation.
4. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to engage effectively with diverse groups.
5. Ability to drive initiatives that promote high-quality care standards.
6. Proficient in IT applications relevant to the role, including record management systems.
7. A compassionate approach towards service users and their families, demonstrating empathy and understanding.
