We are seeking an ambitious Deputy General Manager to help run baresca tapas bar and restaurant in Nottingham City Centre. Established in 2015, baresca focuses on delivering excellent fresh, flavour-packed tapas in a fun and vibrant atmosphere.
baresca forms part of a small group of local restaurants and venues including escabeche, Perkins Bar & Bistro and The Carriage Hall.
This is a hands-on operational role where your main task will be managing the team to deliver superb customer experiences in a bustling, busy environment. You will also assist the General Manager to profitably manage all aspects of the venue. The main functions of the role are to take responsibility for:
1. All aspects of the customer experience
2. The day-to-day management of the venue and service operations
3. Staff recruitment, development and performance
4. Financial performance in line with agreed budget
5. Legal compliance
6. Property & grounds management
The candidate must be customer-focused, immaculately presented, have great people management skills and a keen eye for detail.

Payment package details
Annual package of up to £24,500 (£19,100 annual salary + £500 performance related pay + gratuities)
