The HICA Group has an exciting opportunity for a Community Lead Nurse to join our team of care professionals.
Role Summary: The Community Lead Nurse supports the Registered Manager in delivering a high-quality, person-centred, and cost-effective service. The role provides managerial support, clinical expertise, and leadership to nursing and care teams, ensuring the physical health and wellbeing of residents. The Community Lead Nurse oversees nursing, care, and support staff, ensuring adequate staffing levels and maintaining care standards and documentation.

Pay, Hours, and Benefits:
* Salary: £50,064 per annum
* Hours: 42 hours per week
* Holidays: 30 days annual leave inclusive of bank holidays

Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and support clinical and care staff, ensuring residents’ safety and dignity.
* Develop systems for safe, effective, and high-quality services.
* Maintain accurate records and communication systems.
* Work with the Home Manager on service development and changes.
* Supervise and mentor nursing and care teams.
* Monitor care delivery, including infection control and medication management.
* Develop links with local nurse specialists and referral procedures.
Operational Management:
* Promote a stimulating environment for residents.
* Maintain relationships with clients, care teams, and professionals.
* Manage equipment, facilities, and medical stock.
* Complete audits and determine action plans for improvement.
* Chair clinical and falls meetings and ensure health and safety requirements are met.
People Management:
* Recruit, manage, motivate, and develop staff.
* Ensure staff performance through supervision, coaching, and training.
* Implement HR processes when needed.
* Stay updated with relevant research and developments.
Standard Responsibilities:
* Comply with Health & Safety policies and report risks.
* Report safeguarding or poor practice concerns.
* Treat all individuals with dignity, respect, and courtesy.
* Represent HICA professionally and maintain confidentiality.
* Undertake other duties as requested.

HICA is a not-for-profit care provider operating across Lancashire, Staffordshire, Yorkshire, and Lincolnshire. We specialise in dementia care and learning disabilities both in residential care and the community. The successful candidate will be subject to an enhanced DBS check.
