Your Responsibilities as a Teaching Assistant:
* Collaborate with children individually or in small groups to enhance their learning.
* Serve as a positive role model for both students and colleagues.
* Foster positive relationships with children and their families.
* Collaborate with fellow staff members, including specialists.
* Assist the class teacher in resource preparation and activity setup.
Responsibilities:
* Help prepare a lesson and tidy the classroom afterwards
* Provide assistance with lesson plans
* Support children across the curriculum
* Give extra support to children with special needs
* Help mark work
* Report student progress
* Help look after the children during school trips and activities
* Look after children that are unwell
* Attend meetings
* Confidence in guiding individuals or small groups.
* A positive attitude and effective communication skills.
Essential requirements:
* Experience working with young people
* Class management skills
* Comfortable managing challenging behaviour
* Able to engage with and motivate children
* TA Qualified
