3 Days in Office – London (Preferred) or Sheffield
Join a fast-growing, product-led fintech as their first dedicated Insight Analyst. With a strong UK presence and rapid European expansion, this is a rare opportunity to build out the insights function from scratch, working directly with leadership and playing a key role in shaping product and growth strategy.
The Company
This profitable fintech business provides interest-free payment solutions for car servicing and repairs. With a Buy Now Pay Later model tailored to the automotive industry, they partner with garages and dealerships across the UK and are expanding into Germany, Ireland, and the Netherlands. Having built a strong foothold in the market, the business is focused on scaling through better customer and dealer insight, driving adoption, and supporting international growth.
The Team
You’ll report into the Chief Growth Officer and sit within the Growth & Marketing function, working closely with designers, content leads, CRM managers, and B2B marketers. The wider data function includes Data Engineering, BI, and a Head of Data who you’ll collaborate with frequently. You’ll also work alongside senior stakeholders including the Chief Commercial Officer, Head of Product, and co-founders, giving you a high level of exposure across the business.
The Role
You’ll be the first person in the business focused solely on insights, joining a team that’s great at engineering and reporting but lacks a dedicated analyst to extract and apply insights. You’ll own key analysis across customer segmentation, campaign performance, product usage, and market-level behaviours.
You’ll help identify why some dealerships use the product heavily and others don’t, define what makes a “good” customer or partner, and work with leadership to build strategies for deeper engagement and adoption. This is a highly visible role where your insight will directly impact commercial strategy and product growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyse user and partner behaviour to identify key segments and engagement patterns
- Drive campaign analysis and offline/online marketing performance tracking
- Work on competitor and market analysis to support growth in new regions
- Collaborate with product, marketing, and data teams to translate insight into action
- Help develop KPIs and reporting structures for customer and market performance
- Work closely with the Head of Data and senior stakeholders on strategic initiatives
Sample Questions You’ll Help Answer:
- Why does one dealership process 10% of transactions through us and another just 1%?
