About the Role Rochdale Council are seeking to appoint Systems Engineer in the Systems Infrastructure Team of ICT Operations. The successful candidate will work within the 2nd line team managing the infrastructure technical used to deliver services to around 3,000 users. The successful candidate can expect to gain exposure to the following: Windows Server 2012, 2016, 2019 and 2022 VMware vSphere Windows 10/11, Office 2016 and above Microsoft 365 Active Directory Exchange Server Skype for Business Server & VOIP System Centre Configuration Manager (SCCM) SQL Server Citrix Virtual Apps & Desktops Load balancers and proxy servers About you You will be expected to: Work as part of a team and on your own Allocate work to yourself and others, and ensure its completion in a timely manner Research, develop, implement and support new technologies, procedures and policies Demonstrate logical thinking and good problem solving skills Adhere to Rochdale Council s change control procedure and Cybersecurity policy About us To apply please demonstrate how you meet the essential requirements of the person specification.
