Hours: Part-time - 0.78 FTE over 5 days
We are seeking a well-qualified graduate with a passion for teaching and excellent subject knowledge to join our team of Junior School teachers, on a part-time basis.
As Class Teacher, you will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons, leading trips/visits and, and contributing to the vibrant extracurricular life of the school.
The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the curriculum, a passion for inspiring young minds, and a strong commitment to ongoing professional development. We are looking for someone who is organised, efficient, and an excellent communicator, capable of motivating and engaging both pupils and colleagues.
While we encourage flexibility in teaching across all primary phases, we are particularly interested in candidates who specialise in Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and Key Stage 1 (KS1).
While this post is temporary, there is the possibility of a permanent part-time role (FTE may vary) becoming available from September 2025. The successful candidate would be well placed to apply for this role if desired.

Our Junior School offers a well-resourced and inspiring learning environment. Classrooms are beautifully maintained with views of our scenic grounds and are equipped with Clevertouch screens to support transformative digital learning. Both teachers and pupils are encouraged to utilise the numerous breakout zones and outdoor spaces throughout the site. Additionally, we have two specialist classrooms: a fully equipped science laboratory and an arts classroom.
