For the successful Operations Assistant our client is offering:
1. Starting salary of £25,000 per annum
2. Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 5 pm with Saturdays on a rota
3. Permanent contract

The role – Operations Assistant:
1. Act as the first point for both drivers and customers to raise any questions or queries
2. Coordinate driver holidays and reporting of unauthorized absences to the Operations Manager
3. Assisting with driver routing and fleet planning
4. Supporting the operations department with administrative requests and needs to support the transport/driver services
5. General administration to support the operations and transport team
What our client is looking for in an Operations Assistant:
1. High level of coordination experience in an Administrative Capacity – ESSENTIAL
2. Previous experience working in a transport/driver/logistics planning role – DESIRABLE
3. Good Communication Skills
4. IT literacy
