Belcan Workforce Solutions is currently looking for a Maintenance Planner to work for one of our clients based in Shawbury, Shrewsbury, UK.
You will require 'Right to Work' in UK, unfortunately no sponsorship will be available for this role.
1. Standard 35 hours per week (working 4.5 days between the hours of 7am - 7pm, hours agreed at business discretion)
2. Able to start on a BPSS+ clearance but will need to obtain SC once started.
3. Must have knowledge of EASA regulations relating to Part M and Part 145 Airworthiness and Maintenance requirements.
4. Experience with SAP and ERP software, for the use of Technical Records, Planning and Maintenance.
The Maintenance Planner is responsible to provide short/medium term planning requirements and Material Planning requirements to support aircraft scheduled maintenance inputs.
The main responsibilities of the post holder will be
5. To ensure that all appropriate legislative and Company Procedures are adhered to in order to ensure that the Company remains compliant and aircraft airworthy.
6. Liaison with Operations Controllers, Technical Records and the Maintenance Team to ensure a common understanding of capability and capacity.
7. Entry of Technical log utilisation data onto the Maintenance system.
8. Review of allocated Aircraft status reports on a weekly basis to ensure full maintenance programme compliance is maintained.
9. Identify provisional maintenance dates for allocated aircraft based on projected utilisation and update the Maintenance planning calendar with 'Provisional' maintenance dates.
10. Review material requirements against provisional maintenance dates for allocated aircraft. Raise reservations/purchase requisitions for missing materials
11. Raise aircraft scheduled maintenance orders.
12. Review of prepared work specifications and work packages for maintenance inputs to ensure that aircraft downtimes are minimised.
13. Confirm material requirements are available for the scheduled maintenance events for allocated aircraft
14. Ensure that the support and prepared documentation provided by Planning meets the needs of scheduled maintenance inputs.
15. Reset Maintenance tasks in MIS.
16. Other such reasonable tasks as directed by AHUK management team in support of the MFTS operation
The post holder would ideally have the following Knowledge and Skills
Essential
17. Must have knowledge of EASA regulations relating to Part M and Part 145 Airworthiness and Maintenance requirements.
18. Experience with SAP and ERP software, for the use of Technical Records, Planning and Maintenance.
19. Must have high computer literacy skills, competent with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point, Access).
We require the post holder to have the following Education, Qualifications, or special training
Essential
20. Formalised EASA Part 145 and Part M training.
Desirable
21. Academic qualification in Aviation related discipline (NVQ, BTEC, HNC/D).
