Due to increased expansion, we are looking for a Project Manager to support us in the Service Team on a Fixed Term basis. The contract will be for an initial 12 month fixed period with the opportunity to extend the term or even become a permanent member of the team. You will be responsible for managing all elements of a project, from tendering for the works all the way through to completion and sign off.

We seek a Project Manager who will report to the MD.
The Project Manager will be site-based; however, during the pre-construction phase, there will be a need for regular office visits. This will be more prominent if the site is in its early construction phase.
You should demonstrate excellent leadership skills and be able to communicate the vision of the company across all levels.
A key skill in this role is building relationships both internally and externally.
What is the job about?
1. Design Management: The project manager will be responsible for:
1. Developing detailed Project Plans, ensuring adequate resource availability and allocation
2. Ensuring Project delivery on time and within budget
3. Continued Measurement of Project Performance
4. Building and maintaining relationships with clients, staff, and third parties
5. Developing and Maintaining Project Documentation, tracking progress
6. Carrying out regular Health & Safety checks, Risk Management, creating RAMS as necessary.
7. Managing appropriate techniques regarding alterations in project scope, schedules, or costs
8. Managing all aspects of the design from as early RIBA design stage 3.
9. Working alongside our in-house design manager to deliver the design on certain projects, dependent on time and scale.
10. Managing our partnered design consultancies to ensure they always maintain programme and quality.
11. Offering design solutions to assist with cost-saving or problem-solving.
2. Commercial: The project manager will be responsible for:
1. Cost management and reporting, working alongside our commercial team.
2. Managing variation orders and site instructions.
3. Completing client tenders in line with any deadlines specified.
3. Procurement: The project manager will be responsible for:
1. Managing the sub-contractor procurement, working alongside our pre-construction team.
2. Managing the equipment & materials procurement, working alongside our dedicated procurement team.
3. Project reporting to the internal management team and externally to the client team.
4. Site Management: The project manager will be responsible for:
1. Managing the dedicated site team, sometimes consisting of Site Managers, Project Engineers, Logistic Managers, Labourers, and other site staff.
2. Managing and directing the project Sub-contractors by building key relationships and trust and working in a collaborative manner.
3. Ensuring the site team upholds professionalism at all times, starting from the top. Lead by example.
4. Working closely with the Principal Contractor and professional team to ensure an on-time and seamless delivery of the project, ensuring client satisfaction.
5. Building client and consultant relationships during the project to provide an opportunity for future business.
6. Managing and administering the project in accordance with Arundell processes, quality assurance documents, and operational procedures.
7. Reporting any domestic or external key issues at the earliest opportunity to your line manager.
The Ideal Candidate
* Right to work in the UK
* At least 3 years experience in a similar role - Essential
* Experience working on HVAC / Mechanical Installs - Essential
* Experience analysing and completing tenders - Essential
* Excellent understanding of FGAS rules and regulations - Essential
* Experience managing and leading a team of engineers - Desired, but not Essential.
* Experience analysing and amending CAD plans and liaising with the in-house design team to make relevant amendments when necessary - Essential
* Excellent Written & Communication Skills
* Proficient using Microsoft Packages, such as Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.
* Trained to NVQ/Diploma level as an A/C Engineer - Desired, but not Essential
