The Role:
We are seeking a passionate and committed Teaching Assistant to join our friendly team. The successful candidate will support teachers in delivering high-quality education and ensure that every child is supported to make progress, both academically and socially.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide support to the class teacher in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons.
Work with small groups or individual pupils to reinforce learning and provide targeted interventions.
Assist with the preparation of classroom resources and activities.
Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment, supporting children with varying needs and abilities.
Promote good behaviour and encourage positive social interactions among pupils.
Support children with special educational needs (SEN), ensuring they have equal access to the curriculum.
Supervise children during break and lunchtimes as required.
Maintain accurate records of pupil progress and provide feedback to teachers.
About You:
The ideal candidate will have:
Experience working with children in a school or educational setting (desirable but not essential).
A Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent) is desirable but not essential.
A genuine passion for working with children and supporting their development.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
The ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude.
A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
