This role works at the operational and executional level supporting the regional HR Advisory team to execute employee lifecycle processes across multiple client groups, locations and business stakeholders.
Role Responsibilities
1. Business Support
o Support the delivery and implementation of HR initiatives.
o Assist the regional HR Advisory team with their client groups' people matters across the employee lifecycle.
o Participate in initiatives to improve culture and employee engagement at the regional level and ongoing reinforcement of initiatives.
o Respond to general advisory queries from the business and the HR Operations team.
o Conduct exit interviews and produce regular reports and analysis.
2. Employee Relations
o In conjunction with the regional HR Advisory and ER teams, support Employee Relations cases, ensuring adherence to group policy and local requirements.
o Support the management of short and long term absences, seeking specialist advice as appropriate and initiate Occupational Health and Permanent Health Insurance processes in accordance with policy.
o Support the HR Advisory team in managing Flexible Working Arrangement requests, capability matters, and redundancy processes, ensuring action taken is in accordance with group policy and local requirements.
3. Talent
o Assist HR Advisory team with the management of the organisation’s talent lifecycle process – talent and succession, development planning, calibration process, promotion and progression, and annual performance review.
4. HR Analytics
o Produce ad-hoc reports as required by the team and client groups.
o Manage Equality Commission reporting for annual monitoring requirements, ensuring timely and accurate collation of data.
5. General
o Play an active role within the team environment, working collaboratively with HR COEs, sharing knowledge and business insights to facilitate joined-up HR execution.
o Proactively and collaboratively partner with HR Operations to ensure first-class business service delivery. Act as the main liaison between the HR Operations and Advisory teams.
o Support the wider Advisory team in responding to general queries, administration where required, and tracking and analysis, policy and procedural reviews.
o Gain knowledge of legislative changes impacting employees in the regional jurisdiction.
o Perform other duties as assigned by HR management.
Experience / Competences
1. Exceptionally strong communicator, able to adapt style to suit audience and extract key messages to deliver high-impact communications.
2. Role models teamwork and partners well to achieve common goals, building effective working relationships.
3. Knowledge of Northern Ireland’s Equality Commission reporting is preferable.
4. HRIS experience, ideally Workday.
5. Proven administrative, planning, and organisational skills.
6. Ability to demonstrate discretion and confidentiality.
7. Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, and Outlook.
8. Experience of working in Professional Services.
