As a Sound & Lighting Technician, you will be working on a range of events of varying scale. You will be based on site and will assist with the day-to-day technical delivery and operation of different events such as talks, DJ setups, product launches, charity events, gala dinners, and small intimate live performances.
This role is part-time: 30 hours per week.
Responsibilities:
* Operation of Sound
* Operation of Lights
* Assisting the events team on all AV needs
* Maintaining kit to a high standard
* Liaising with Venue GMs to ensure all AV needs are met
* Ensuring all events have adequate tech cover
* Reporting to the Group Technical Manager on all expenditure of kit and crew
Qualifications:
* Strong experience in the setup and operation of audio and AV equipment, specifically within a corporate or hospitality environment
* Passionate about events and technology and keen to progress a career in event production
* Knowledge of Digico Digital mixers, Pioneer DJ kit, Qsys Systems, and Avolites lighting consoles is desirable
* Highly organized with the ability to multitask and excellent team player
