Job Title: Interim Activities Manager

Location: Maldon, Essex
Contract: 3-month contract with possibility to extend to permanent.
Gilbert Meher are delighted to be working with a national care provider who are currently looking for an Interim Activities Manager to join their team in Maldon, Essex.
The ideal Activities Manager will have a history of organizing activities for the elderly, planning appropriate activities, delivering one-to-one care, and taking life histories, plus many other engaging activities.
Responsibilities:
1. Develop and implement activity programmes tailored to meet the physical, mental, and emotional needs of residents.
2. Coordinate outings, events, and social gatherings to promote socialization and recreation.
3. Collaborate with care staff to ensure activities align with residents' care plans.
Minimum Requirements:
1. 2+ years' experience in a similar role.
2. Possess leadership and management qualities.
3. Communicate professionally with visitors including family and friends.
Desirable Skills:
1. Excellent time management, delegation, and organizational skills executed effectively under pressure.
2. Exceptional listening skills, with compassion and empathy.
