They have new PE backers that are supportive, encouraging, and keen to invest in technology, change, and growth, aiming to seize the enormous potential that exists in their marketplace. Additionally, they have just agreed on an exciting new commercial contract with their largest business partner. This newly created role is responsible for setting up and delivering all intercompany reporting and relationship management. Once established, the role will develop into a commercial analytical position, seeking to identify commercial opportunities and add value to both parties. This high-profile role offers significant opportunities for personal career development and would be an ideal first move from Practice into industry.
The company leads within a specialist and evolving sector, which includes stock holding, international logistics, sales, marketing, brand partnerships, etc., all in high volume.
Responsibilities:
* Provision of quarterly reforecast to the partner business
* Provision of quarterly actuals reporting and reconciliation to partner business
* Key point of contact for fielding questions from partner business regarding forecasts and actuals reporting
* Periodic commercial performance reporting (e.g., by business, by profit centre, by division, and category)
* Work with Commercial teams to analyze opportunities for improvements in performance
* Facilitation and management of cash movement between our client and the partner business
* Co-ordination of quarterly marketing and capex forecasts
* Supporting business cases and post-investment review for capex proposals
* Facilitation of annual external audit of partner financials
* Support FP&A team with quarterly reforecasts, annual budget, and 3-year plan
* Communicating with PE investors regarding performance
* Ownership of relationship with Partner company’s Finance team
