Job Title: Supply Teacher Location: North West England, Greater Manchester, Altrincham Job Type: Contract, expected to work Full-Time hours Primary Industry: Education and Training Salary: £130 - £140 Per day Job Duties: Deliver engaging and informative lessons to students as per the curriculum Manage classroom behaviour and create a positive learning environment Assess and evaluate students' progress through tests, assignments, and examinations Provide feedback to students, parents, and school staff on academic performance Participate in staff meetings, professional development sessions, and other school-related activities Required Qualifications: Recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, QTS, or equivalent) Valid DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) clearance Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to adapt to different teaching environments and work with diverse student populations Education: Bachelor's degree in Education or related field Experience: Prior experience working as a teacher or in a similar educational role Knowledge and Skills: Thorough understanding of the national curriculum and educational standards Strong classroom management skills Effective lesson planning and delivery techniques Ability to work independently and as part of a team Preferred Qualifications: Additional subject-specific qualifications or training Experience working with special educational needs (SEN) students First aid certification Working Conditions: Work primarily during school hours May require travel to different schools within the region Collaborate with other teachers and school staff Follow school policies and procedures All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
