Key Responsibilities: Legal Support: Assist fee earners in preparing legal documents, correspondence, and pleadings related to family and matrimonial cases such as divorce, child custody, adoption, and domestic violence. Case Management: Manage case files, maintain accurate records, and ensure deadlines are met. Conduct legal research, gather relevant information, and assist in case preparation. Client Interaction: Communicate professionally and empathetically with clients, providing updates, answering inquiries, and guiding them through legal processes. Court Filings: Prepare and file legal documents with courts, agencies, and other relevant entities, ensuring accuracy and compliance with procedural requirements. Requirements: Legal Secretary experience essential Proven experience specialising in family and matrimonial law. Proficiency in legal research, drafting legal documents, and case management software. Excellent communication, organisational, and multitasking skills. Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
