We are looking for a person to support the administration of the Capital Projects Service and assist in the project management of capital projects alongside the Head of Capital Projects.
Candidates must be enthusiastic, good communicators, and have excellent attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple demands and workstreams arising from the service.

1. Have excellent customer service skills to deliver a high level of customer service.
2. Display excellent attention to detail to ensure that accurate information is recorded, and that agendas, minutes, and reports are produced to a high standard.
3. Work independently and be well-organized to successfully manage multiple, competing workstreams to ensure that information is provided at the right time and to a high standard.
4. Possess at least one of the following qualifications: GCSE Grade 9-4, GCSE Grade A-C, or Functional Skills Level 2 in Maths & English.
5. Exhibit excellent communication skills, including the ability to ask effective questions to gather accurate information, hand over the right information to the right people at the right time, and deal assertively and professionally with colleagues, service users, third parties, and contractors.
6. Understand what work is most important and prioritize tasks appropriately.
7. Work as part of a team to ensure a smooth delivery of the service and adapt to the needs of the team.
8. Be competent to be trained in using various IT databases and systems, such as the Repairs and Maintenance Database, ensuring timely, relevant, and accurate information updates.
9. Have relevant experience using all Microsoft packages, particularly Excel and Outlook, with knowledge of analyzing data and MS Project to assist in planning projects being beneficial.
10. Possess sufficient knowledge and confidence to work largely autonomously following briefing and direction from the Head of Service.
11. Maintain a positive attitude towards work, be resilient, embrace change, and actively collaborate with colleagues to improve the service offered to customers.
12. Utilize information effectively to problem solve.
