Job Title: Mental Health Support Worker

Salary: £11.50 - £12.00 per hour

We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated Mental Health Support Worker to join our team.
Responsibilities:
* Provide high-quality care and support to residents with complex mental health needs.
* Assist residents in their daily activities and promote independence.
* Implement personalised care plans and ensure the well-being of each resident.
* Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive care.
* Monitor and report on residents' progress and any changes in their condition.
* Maintain accurate records and documentation.
Requirements:
* Must live within a radius of 15 miles from Felixstowe.
* Previous experience in working with adults aged 18-65 with mental health needs (particularly schizophrenia) is essential and is a deal braker.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
* Compassionate, patient, and empathetic nature.
* Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
* Proficiency in active listening and the ability to read body language.
* Relevant qualifications in health and social care are desirable.
