Cakes & Bubbles is a renowned dessert destination located within Hotel Café Royal, created in collaboration with Michelin-starred chef Albert Adri from Spain. Known for its innovative and artfully crafted desserts, Cakes & Bubbles delights guests with signature creations like the famous "Cheese Cake,"Cakes & Bubbles Corks, The Rose, and Passion Golden Egg Flan; alongside a specially curated champagne menu. We also offer a menu of savoury dishes to our discerning guests. We are seeking an enthusiastic and professional Waiter to join our team and deliver exceptional service, creating memorable experiences for our guests.
The Role:
As a Waiter at Cakes & Bubbles, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that every guest has an unforgettable dining experience. You will provide attentive and knowledgeable service, guiding guests through the unique dessert menu and recommending pairings to enhance their enjoyment. You will collaborate closely with our kitchen team to uphold the high standards of excellence associated with both Hotel Café Royal and Chef Albert Adri.
Cakes & Bubbles is open 7 days a week, 11am till 9pm.
Key Responsibilities:
* Welcome guests warmly upon arrival, providing a personalized and engaging experience.
* Present the menu and offer detailed descriptions of Cakes & Bubbles signature desserts, highlighting special creations and seasonal offerings.
* Take orders accurately and communicate them efficiently to the kitchen team, ensuring a smooth and seamless service.
* Serve desserts and beverages in a professional and friendly manner, ensuring presentation standards are met.
* Offer suggestions for dessert pairings and beverage selections, including champagne, coffee, and specialty drinks, to enhance the guest experience.
* Monitor and attend to guest needs throughout their visit, ensuring a high level of satisfaction and promptly addressing any special requests or concerns.
* Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including resetting tables and preparing for service.
* Work collaboratively with colleagues and management to ensure a coordinated and efficient service flow.
* Assist in setting up for private events or special promotions, ensuring all guest needs are met.
* Maintain knowledge of the brands history, Chef Albert Adris philosophy, and the unique qualities of the menu items to provide guests with an informative experience.
Requirements:
* Previous experience as a waiter in a high-end restaurant, dessert bar, or luxury hotel environment is preferred.
* A genuine passion for hospitality and delivering exceptional guest experiences.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with guests in a warm and professional manner.
* Knowledge of desserts, specialty pastries, and beverages is an advantage.
* Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
* Attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
