We're recruiting for an experienced Technical Manager to join our clients team based in the Dudley area.

Our client is a well established manufacturer that provide high quality hardware within the lock and architectural hardware market.
Ideally, the successful Technical Manager will have previous lock manufacturing experience though this is not essential.
The role will involve:
Working closely with internal & external colleagues to manage product specifications, ensuring alignment with customer requirements
Oversee testing to include performance evaluations, quality control & certification procedures
Coordinate with regulatory bodies to maintain up to date certifications
Carry out market research to identify industry trends, customer needs and identify areas to improve
Provide technical guidance to internal colleagues and customers
Develop technical training materials and deliver training sessions to enhance product knowledge. This may include customer site visits.
Manage the master keying process
Skills/experience required:
Proven experience within a technical management role, ideally within the lock manufacturing/architectural hardware industry
Strong knowledge of product specification, testing processes & quality management
A full UK driving licence
Excellent communication and attention to detail
Project management - must have the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously ensuring deadlines are met and queries addressed promptly
Working hours (some flexibility may be required):
Monday to Thursday 08:00-17:00
Friday 08:00-15:00
