Description Principal Licensing Officer Permanent Grade 5 - £41,511 - £49,764 Consultation grade - subject to formal evaluation under the Pay Equity Review Working 36.5 hours per week The Principal Licensing Officer will undertake a range of duties including providing licensing enforcement, visiting premises, investigating complaints, participating in enforcement exercises, producing reports, advising the trade, their representatives and licensees regarding best practice and assisting with the supervision of a team of Enforcement Officers and admin support staff. The successful candidate will be required to work some evening and night work on a regular basis. You will be required to work a 36.5 hour week including 6 hours evening work 8.00 p.m. – 2.00 a.m. In addition, you may also be required to work one Saturday/Sunday each month for which appropriate recompense will be made in accordance with terms and conditions of employment. The post holder should hold a full driving licence and have access to a motor vehicle.
