The General Manager will: Have responsibility for the delivery of key critical performance issues within Cluster 1 specialities. Work closely with the Specialty Leads, Clinical Director, Divisional Operations Director, Matrons and Divisional Director of Nursing to ensure high levels of service, quality and performance in the delivery of key objectives. Be an active member of the Divisional team in terms of overall service development and strategic plans. Ensure the delivery of high quality clinical services in line with the Trusts Organisational Objectives. Establish sound performance management arrangements. Liaise with independent sector providers where appropriate. Deputise for Divisional Operations Director as required. Participate in the manager of the day rota within Division. Participate in the planning and management of capital projects, as required. Participate in the Trust management on-call rota. See attached job description and person specification for more details.
