Base salary between £35,000 - £40,000 per annum
Good commission structure based on sales achieved
Role based in East Hampshire
Hybrid working - 3 days a week in the office and 2 working remotely
Working for a new, dynamic Event Technology Company we have an exciting opportunity to join them as a Business Development Manager.
As Business Development Manager you will help drive sales of their innovative technology and help their customers measure the true impact of their events. Their product delivers real event ROI by integrating event data with sales and marketing platforms.
This is a hybrid role based in East Hampshire, with the flexibility to work remotely two days a week. The Channel / Business Development Manager will be responsible for establishing and developing relationships with key partners, including event agencies and technology providers. Your role will focus on building a channel ecosystem that promotes the companies solutions and drives collaborative growth.
As the first dedicated sales team member, we are seeking someone with an entrepreneurial mindset who enjoys building new relationships and working independently. You will report directly to the company founder.
Key responsibilities:
Cultivate and manage relationships with channel partners, including event agencies and tech providers.
Identify opportunities for partnership-led growth and help integrate the companies technology into partners' service offerings.
Present our solutions to partners in both virtual and face-to-face meetings, demonstrating the value of our approach to event data and engagement.
Support marketing and outreach efforts to broaden brand awareness within the event and martech industries.
Work closely with the founder to shape the growth strategy for channel partnerships.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
2+ years in Sales, Channel Sales, Partner Sales, Business Development, or Account Management
Confident in presenting solutions and negotiating partnerships both online and in person
Interest in event technology or martech
Strong organisational and time management skills
Excellent communication skills for building rapport with diverse partners
Willingness to travel for events and partner meetings
Desirable Skills/Experience
Familiarity with event industry dynamics
Experience working with event technology platforms such as HubSpot, Bizzabo, or Cvent
