My client is one of the largest privately owned property companies in the UK and specialises in managing development, strategic land operations, and investment on behalf of their clients. The company has a partnership with the DVLA based in Swansea and manages their daily property demands, including technical aspects such as mechanical and electrical work.
Your new role
This specific role involves completing a handover back to the client and ensuring all certification is in place for the contract expiry handover to the DVLA, set to end in 2025. This includes ensuring that all buildings meet statutory compliance and that contractual agreements are up-to-date. You will manage the hard FM contract and liaise with the principal contractor onsite to complete the required works before the handover. This is a temporary role for up to 3 months and will involve managing risks on the estate.
What you'll need to succeed
To succeed in this role, you will need experience managing Health & Safety, Hard FM contracts, and demonstrating building client relationships. You must hold an IOSH or NEBOSH certificate and have experience managing asbestos, fire, legionella, gas, electrical systems, lifts/lifting equipment, and health and safety. Flexibility in working hours to suit business needs, IT literacy with Microsoft packages, and a full UK driving licence are also required.
