HSE Advisor – Large Data Centre Project, Newport
Our Client is a leading UK contractor with expertise in various sectors including aviation, energy, rail, and groundworks. As they continue to expand, they are looking for a dedicated HSE Advisor to join their team on a large data centre project in Newport Wales.
This opportunity is perfect for a newly qualified HSE Advisor with 4-5 years of experience who is looking to expand their practical knowledge while working alongside a skilled and growing HSE team.
Key Responsibilities:
* Work under the direction and supervision of an experienced HSE Manager.
* Represent the company with professionalism and pride.
* Actively participate in training and skill development.
* Support safe working practices and promote health and safety standards.
* Engage with colleagues, mentors, and management to foster a positive working environment.
* Contribute to health and safety planning, risk assessments, and system developments.
* Assist with Health & Safety inspections and on-site documentation.
* Develop HSE reports and engage with the workforce on safety matters.
* Lead safety campaigns and participate in safety expos and innovation initiatives.
* Support internal and external audits, and maintain continuous professional development.

* A strong interest in health and safety, with a commitment to becoming a proficient HSE Advisor.
* Honest, trustworthy, flexible, and committed to high safety standards.
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to work across multiple projects.
* Willingness to work on-site, in person, at the Newport location.
Job Type:
* Full-time, Permanent
* 10-hour shifts, Monday to Friday
Salary: £40,000 - £60,000 depending on experience and skill set!
