About the Role
As a Senior Care and Housing Support Officer, you will take a proactive role in guiding and supporting our front-line care and support team. Key responsibilities include:
1. Providing practical, on-the-job supervision to ensure high-quality service delivery.
2. Completing and maintaining personalized care plans and other necessary documentation.
3. Stepping into management duties during the absence of senior leadership staff, including the Extra Care Manager, Assistant Manager, or Support Team Manager.
4. Participating in rota-based Duty Management tasks to support the smooth operation of the service.
What we are looking for
To excel in this role, you will bring:
* An NVQ Level 2 qualification in Care (or equivalent).
* Strong literacy skills (Level 2 or equivalent).
* A minimum of two years’ experience working with vulnerable adults, including individuals with disabilities and dementia.
* Sound knowledge of care standards and the CQC inspection framework.
* A good understanding of Extra Care services, covering both social care and housing management aspects.
