Main Purpose of the Job To support the implementation of marketing programmes across Biosynth’s wide portfolio of products and services. To develop marketing materials and contribute to marketing projects by commissioning, writing and editing content. To act as a specialist for marketing Biosynth’s manufacturing services with a focus on chemical manufacturing including route scouting, process development, large scale and GMP manufacturing. Address more broadly our Pharma services for all target customers. To help deliver internal projects by working cross-functionally and interact with marketing and product specialists, sales professionals, scientists and IT experts. Key Responsibilities Write technical marketing material for chemistry research, pharmaceutical and diagnostic applications. Act as a services specialist for manufacturing, analytics and quality across chemistry, collating case studies, details of capabilities and understanding of target customers. Write and edit technical content for digital marketing purposes in form of blog posts, general website content, special promotions and e-marketing campaigns on products and services. Support the production of posters, presentations and other material for scientific audience. Proof-read technical content for online and offline channels. Help deliver internal projects, working across different teams within the global business, interacting with marketing, sales professionals, scientists and IT experts. Assist in the design of engaging, relevant promotional content for customers such as flyers and social media content including videos and animations. Assist in the development, analysis, and presentation of technical data including preparation of data deliverables in tabular and presentation formats. Work with product/services specialists, scientists and scientific advisors on technical communications projects. Using experience in the field and working with sales/commercial leads, identify opportunities for marketing campaigns around service areas of focus. Assisting with maintenance of the scientific architecture of product database and website. Occasionally supporting the sales team at scientific conferences. Project manage internal projects as required. Perform related duties as assigned by the Head of Marketing Supporting the Biosynth product range by loading, amending and updating product and market data to appropriate systems. Amending and adjusting the product database fields and categories as necessary. Candidate Requirements PhD in a Life Science subject, or MSc/BSc and further industry experience Knowledge of CDMO services Knowledge of GMP guidelines Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written High standard of written English Strong attention to detail Strong time management and planning skills Strong decision-making and negotiating skills Ability to resolve problems Strong interpersonal skills Good team working skills and the ability to collaborate with others Ability to work independently, with the minimum supervision and meet deadlines Experience with MS Office Suite Awareness of B2B marketing would be desirable Experience of working with CDMOs and chemical manufacturing, including GMP experience would be beneficial Experience with technical writing for scientific audience would be preferred This is a hybrid role, you will need your own transport to be able to get to our site.
