This is a brilliant opportunity to work as part of the MEH Alliance on the prestigious Hinkley Point C Nuclear project. The alliance work across the project to integrate and coordinate the delivery of all main Mechanical, Electrical, Heating, Ventilation and Air-Conditioning (MEH), cabling and associated support services. This innovative approach will help different contractors work as a single entity to deliver the complex installation of cabling and pipework in the power station’s vast network of rooms. The role As an Assistant Project Manager, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. Being part of the MEH Alliance working on Hinkley Point C is a chance to be involved in a major project with national significance. Day-to-day, you’ll support with high level planning of projects or sub-projects in collaboration with the project planning team. You will manage daily, weekly, and monthly coordination of project tasks and deliverables alongside liaising with the client and other contractors to understand and define scope, manage priorities and monitor productivity. Providing clerical support to the Project or Construction Manager. Generate weekly and monthly reports to capture progress, barriers and quantity data. Assist the Project or Construction Manager with the change control process adherence. Liaise with the Commercial Teams on a day to day basis regarding contractual requirements Monitor working rotas for the team to ensure that working time directives where applicable are adhered to. Engage with the procurement team and suppliers as required to progress the project and tasks. This role is full time role, 37 hours per week, and is based on site at Hinkley Point. Essential Experience Of The Assistant Project Manager Previous experience of working in a Project based support role. Qualifications For The Assistant Project Manager HND/HNC or Apprenticeship in a Project or Construction related discipline is desirable for role however individuals with earned experience in a similar role for a minimum of 5 years will be considered. Security Clearance The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Standard (BPSS) security clearance for this role.
