What you will do:
This is a critical position in the Stumble Guys development family. The Level Designer is the individual who is responsible for crafting the most amazing experiences which allow players to play and interact with other players in one of the largest games on the planet Earth.
The ideal candidate has an excellent understanding of feature and system design, widely knowledgeable, and talented at communicating ideas with writing and references.
1. Be a level designer for one of the largest games on the planet.
2. Own the design of levels, including block outs and mechanics.
3. Research and develop solutions to solve level problems and create exciting player experiences.
4. Create and maintain design documentation for your work.
5. Collaborate with artists, UX, UI and code to bring your levels to life.
6. Analyze the reception of your work and iterate our thinking towards continuous improvement.
7. Contribute opinions and ideas to all elements of the game.
8. Work cross-functionally with other designers, art, engineering, production, audio, QA, community, and any other necessary teams.
What we’re looking for:
9. Worked on and built levels in unity
10. Be a great communicator, able to listen, gather feedback, and apply that feedback efficiently and effectively.
11. Passionate consumer of games.
12. The candidate must be able to both act independently and work collaboratively within teams.
13. Experience with writing technical design documentation ( - briefs, specs, and iterating with a team to solve problems and create levels.
