Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Data Entry Clerk to work full-time in our client's Transport office based in Lympne, Kent.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately inputting invoice data and liaising with clients and colleagues to check information.
This role requires fast, accurate keyboard skills, attention to detail, and experience in a similar role. Training will be provided as necessary, so if you do not have ALL the key skills but have great Data Entry skills, please apply for immediate consideration.
Duties
1. Input and update data into Cargowide (training provided)
2. Write up customer files and process invoices
3. Deal with invoice queries and resolve efficiently
4. Liaise with customs and customs teams to ensure timely invoice processing
5. Keep up to date with charge rates for customers
6. Bulk invoicing
7. Support the team with month-end and year-end close processes
8. Provide ad hoc office admin assistance where required
Requirements
1. Proven experience in a similar administrative role is preferred.
2. Proficient in data entry with a strong typing speed and accuracy.
3. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
4. Strong attention to detail to ensure high-quality work output.
5. Good phone etiquette and communication skills for interacting with clients and colleagues.
6. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £24,431.67-£26,587.23 per year
