The Role We are looking for an Academy Games Programme Coordinator (U9-U16) to ensure delivery of the Academy Games Programme strategy for our Under 9-Under 16 age groups. You'll be entrusted with the ongoing reporting and reviewing of the strategy to ensure continual development and you'll work closely with our Assistant Academy Operations Manager (U9-U16) to establish alignment across our Academy. In this exciting role, you'll act as our primary point of contact with the London FA regarding match official provision to ensure an appropriate level of officiating. You'll take pride in building and growing relationships with internal colleagues and external stakeholders to maximise opportunities for collaboration. Your day-to-day Coordinate the Academy Games Programme strategy - you'll enthusiastically support the delivery, review and development of the programme strategy for U9-U16 age groups - working with coaching and multidisciplinary colleagues and feeding back to the Lead Phase Coaches and Academy Management Team Ensure we offer a safe and secure environment - you will efficiently work with colleagues across our Facilities, Security and Grounds teams to ensure we're well equipped to deliver the programme strategy Oversee monitoring and reporting - you'll uncover crucial insights and report on them accordingly in order to positively impact the wider Academy environment and you will be crucial in our mission to develop the most challenging and caring football academy in the world Partner with our Travel team - you will be a key ally for colleagues in our Travel team, helping them to identify and deliver overseas tours and tournament opportunities as part of our wider Academy Games Programme Strategy Develop critical external relationships - you'll proudly maintain and evolve our Academy's relationship with London FA to ensure appropriate officiating of all fixtures and you will proactively identify collaborative opportunities to support the development of local match officials Collaborate with senior colleagues - you'll unite with the wider team to ensure compliance with Youth Development Rules and retention of our Category 1 status What we are looking for Background in sport or talent development - you come with proven experience within a high-performance sport or talent development environment Credible expertise - you hold an FA Safeguarding qualification and ideally a UEFA B License and/or FA Youth Award Best-in-class communicator - you're able to communicate with a broad range of internal colleagues and external stakeholders, adapting your style and approach as necessary Confident relationship management skills - you cultivate impactful relationships at varying levels and conduct yourself with discretion, integrity and gravitas in order to act as a proud ambassador for our club Results driven mindset - you're pragmatic and naturally motivated by results and outcomes and you keep players, parents and/or guardians front of mind at all times Excellent attention to detail - you take a holistic approach and you're able to work at pace without sacrificing quality or accuracy Proficient IT skills - you possess a working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Teamworks, FIP & IFAS Why choose us At Arsenal, we want everyone to feel a sense of trust and belonging, so we are proud of both our club values and also what we offer to our employees.
