About the Role
:
As a Fencer you will be responsible for carrying out the construction, repair, and maintenance of various types of fences and gates, such as wood, metal, and chain link. Your tasks include measuring and marking fence lines, digging postholes, assembling, and installing fence sections, and using a variety of hand and power tools. You will be responsible in preparing sites for installation, clear debris, ensure the ground is level, and clean up after the job is done. This is a physically demanding role and requires working outdoors in different weather conditions and adhering to safety protocols.

1. Fencing experience
2. Groundwork experience
3. Basic Landscaping experience
4. UK Full driving license
All our roles require candidates to have the entitlement to work within the UK, Mears does not currently offer visa sponsorship.
To drive a Mears vehicle, you must be aged over 21 have held your licence over 3 months and have less than 9 points.
Candidates should be aware that all our roles are subject to relevant DBS/Security checks before commencement of employment.
