Job Description:
We are currently seeking a reliable and experienced Van Driver to join our team in Scunthorpe. This role involves delivering cuts of steel in a 3.5-ton vehicle.
Key Responsibilities:
* Safely and efficiently deliver cuts of steel to designated locations.
* Adhere to all driving laws and regulations.
* Ensure timely deliveries while maintaining a high standard of customer service.
* Perform daily vehicle inspections and report any issues promptly.
* Handle delivery paperwork and ensure accurate documentation.
Requirements:
* Valid UK driving license with entitlement to drive a 3.5-ton vehicle.
* Proven experience as a van driver, preferably with experience in handling steel or similar materials.
* Excellent driving skills and a clean driving record.
* Strong attention to detail and reliability.
* Good communication and customer service skills.
