In this role, you'll put the vital steps in place to make sure everyone at your location works in a safe and healthy environment. Key job responsibilities - Monitor site performance against set KPIs and create plans to improve processes - Set up workplace health and safety programmes and arrange training sessions - Analyse safety metrics and incident trends to help colleagues plan appropriate resources for areas with the highest risk - Carry out audits to make sure your site is compliant with relevant health and safety laws and implement solutions where you identify risks A day in the life You'll be based on location at one of our sites, which could be one of our fulfilment centres, sortation centres or delivery stations. Being on site means that you can keep a close eye on the processes. As well as helping us stay on top of health and safety compliance, you'll spot potential issues and identify opportunities for improvement. That means working closely with people across the business to get to know the risks they experience and gathering data to identify smarter and safer ways that we can work. You'll also set up training and other programmes to help everyone follow new safety processes and reach new standards. About the team Customer Fulfilment, or CF, is where it all started for Amazon. We help to manage dynamic inventory and facilitate speedy deliveries round the clock. Lots of different people work in our Fulfilment Centres, so there are plenty of opportunities for every skillset. Some of us work with physical products, while others analyse data to help everyone across the business make smart decisions. Basic Qualifications - Experience in workplace health & safety (WHS) related field - Education to Degree level - NEBOSH Diploma/NVQ5 level or equivalent qualification - Understanding of UK Environment, health and safety legislation - Advanced proficiency in written and spoken English Preferred Qualifications - Experience with Lean, 5S and Kaizen methodologies - Relevant experience of communicating with a wide range of stakeholders, including your peers and leadership - Strong stakeholder management capabilities Amazon is an equal opportunities employer.
