About the Role: Budget Energy is seeking a proactive and hands-on B2C Sales Team Lead to oversee our inside sales and retention team. This role is pivotal in driving performance across our residential customer base, ensuring quality service delivery and KPI achievement, while creating a collaborative and high-performing team environment. Key Responsibilities: Ensure the sales team meets performance targets and KPIs through clear direction and ongoing performance monitoring. Lead by example with a hands-on approach to day-to-day operations, supporting projects and process improvements across the team. Conduct regular 1:1 meetings, identify development opportunities, and work with key stakeholders to implement tailored training plans. Use performance tools and reporting to monitor customer interactions, outputs, and overall service quality. Foster open communication, encouraging team feedback and customer insights to continuously improve the customer experience. Ensure full compliance with industry regulations, including GDPR and relevant Codes of Practice. Keep the team well-informed of product updates, offers, and promotional activity to support successful customer engagement. Promote a positive and collaborative team environment that reflects Budget Energys core values. Candidate Profile: The ideal candidate will have proven experience in a leadership role, within a sales or contact centre environment. They will be customer-focused, results-driven, and skilled at motivating teams to reach their full potential. Strong communication, problem-solving, and IT capabilities are essential, along with the ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across departments.
