Location: Remote working in Cirencester in private home office, and attendance at meetings at company HQ in Calne
Position Type: Full-Time
Salary: £27,000 per annum + company benefits – dependant on experience

About Us:
We are launching an innovative Continuous Glucose Monitor (CGM) in the UK, designed to transform diabetes management and empower individuals with real-time glucose insights. To support our mission, we are seeking a dynamic and results-driven PR and Marketing Executive to drive brand awareness, media engagement, and marketing strategies that fuel our growth.
Role Overview:
The PR and Marketing Executive will play a crucial role in the successful launch and ongoing sales of our CGM in the UK. You will develop and execute compelling PR campaigns, manage social media strategies, create engaging content, and support key partnerships, including NHS engagement and public health initiatives. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a growing healthcare technology company making a real impact.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Press & Media Relations:
2. Write and distribute press releases, articles, and thought leadership pieces.
3. Develop and maintain relationships with journalists, influencers, and key stakeholders in the healthcare sector.
4. Monitor media coverage and leverage PR opportunities.
5. Content Creation & Digital Marketing:
6. Develop and implement a social media strategy to grow brand awareness and engagement.
7. Write and manage content for the company website, ensuring up-to-date and engaging information.
8. Craft compelling newsletters and email campaigns to keep stakeholders informed.
9. Market Research & Insights:
10. Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitor activity.
11. Provide insights and recommendations to refine marketing and sales strategies.
12. Strategic Healthcare Engagement & Business Support:
13. Assist with applications and engagement related to the NHS Drug Tariff to secure NHS support.
14. Support funding applications for clinical research to validate and promote the CGM.
15. Collaborate on a public health campaign to raise awareness about glucose monitoring and diabetes care.
16. Attend industry meetings, conferences, and trade shows to represent the company and strengthen partnerships.
Qualifications & Skills:
1. Proven experience in PR, marketing, or communications within healthcare, medical devices, or technology.
2. Strong writing skills, with experience in press releases, articles, and digital content.
3. Social media expertise, with knowledge of LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, and emerging platforms.
4. Experience in market research and ability to translate insights into actionable strategies.
5. Understanding of healthcare policy, NHS structure, or regulatory processes is an advantage.
6. Excellent interpersonal and networking skills to build relationships with media, stakeholders, and partners.
7. Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
