We are currently looking for a Associate Principal Analytical Scientist to join a leading pharmaceutical company based in Wales. As the Associate Principal Analytical Scientist you will be responsible for leading projects within analytical teams and mentoring multiple junior analytical chemists. There will also be an aspect of rapport building with clients.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Your duties as the Associate Principal Analytical Scientist will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:
1. Manage customer projects, ensuring high-quality delivery and maintaining strong client relationships.
2. Develop and validate analytical methods and integrate industry advancements to meet customer needs.
3. Collaborate on troubleshooting and apply digital tools to improve efficiency and process understanding.
4. Lead team safety practices and foster continuous learning through mentoring and innovation initiatives.
ROLE REQUIREMENTS:
To be successful in your application to this exciting opportunity as the Associate Principal Analytical Scientist we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:
1. Requires a degree in Chemistry (PhD preferred) and proven experience in analytical science, particularly in pharmaceuticals or chemical industries.
2. Expertise in developing robust methods using NMR, HPLC, GC, MS, and related techniques, with experience in common chromatographic data systems.
3. Passion for science, commitment to personal/team development, and continuous improvement with a customer-centric approach.
