Join Tshemba Foundation in Strengthening Rural Public Health
The Tshemba Foundation is seeking experienced public health specialists to help address critical healthcare gaps in rural Mpumalanga and Limpopo, where shortages of healthcare professionals and many barriers challenge the delivery of essential preventive care and health education.
We are calling on public health specialists to contribute their expertise and leadership to improve public health initiatives. As a volunteer, you will, for example:
* Train community health workers to enhance frontline healthcare delivery.
* Develop and support patient-focused support groups.
* Assist in monitoring and evaluation of Tshemba’s existing public health projects.
* Provide strategic guidance to strengthen and expand public health initiatives.
Requirements:
* Minimum of three years’ experience in of working in a public health setting, including experience training community-based health personnel.
* Time commitment as a volunteer: International public health specialists: Minimum four months
Accommodation for Tshemba Volunteers
As a Tshemba volunteer, you will receive free accommodation in our Volunteer Lodge, located within the Moditlo Private Game Reserve near Hoedspruit. While transport and food costs are the responsibility of volunteers, your stay in this tranquil setting offers a safe, comfortable, and rejuvenating environment.
