We are working with a highly regarded law firm seeking a diligent, self-motivated, and experienced Property Paralegal to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity to work directly with a Partner on a diverse range of property matters, including commercial and residential transactions.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1+ years of experience in a similar role, a proactive approach to risk management, and a strong commitment to client care. Professional training and career development opportunities will be available for the right candidate.
The Role:
Responsibilities will include:
* Managing freehold and leasehold sales and purchases.
* Handling re-mortgages and refinances, including properties held in companies.
* Assisting with buy-to-let purchases and refinances.
* Preparing and filing SDLT returns.
* Drafting reports on title and mortgage documents.
* Addressing pre-contract inquiries.
* Filing registrations with Companies House and the Land Registry.
Additional exposure to drafting commercial leases and ancillary documents, preparing CPSE replies, and organising data rooms would be advantageous.
Requirements:
The successful candidate will possess:
* Commercial or residential paralegal experience required (minimum 1+ experience)
* Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
* A proactive mindset with the ability to work independently or collaboratively.
* Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
