AutoCAD Technician – Water Infrastructure We are looking to recruit a Civil AutoCAD technician with good UK water industry infrastructure experience. The candidate should be technically proficient, able to work with own initiative, possess a high level of independence and have excellent communication skills. Core Duties and Responsibilities. Preparation of AutoCAD drawings for various below ground water infrastructure projects. Ability to develop detailed design drawings from basic outline information. Ensure compliance with company and client drawing standards. Ability to read and determine information from drawings, schedules and specification. To be aware of work requirements and take personal responsibility in delivering drawings to agreed time and quality requirements. Undertaking site visits to gather information and data. Document control. Location: Sheffield Hours: Monday to Friday – 40 Hours per week. Salary: £42 - 45k Responsibilities – but not limited to: Preparation of AutoCAD drawings for various below ground water infrastructure projects. Knowledge and experience of wastewater and clean water infrastructure. Good appreciation of design delivery, health, safety and environmental processes. Good numerical, analytical and IT skills. The ability to communicate in a fluent and positive manner with other team members. Desirable HND Civil Engineering or equivalent Personal Qualities Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Able to work collaboratively with others to form strong positive working relationships with colleagues, clients and contractors.
