Cover Supervisors - Northumberland
The Education Network is looking for Cover Supervisors of all levels of experience to work in Secondary Schools within the Northumberland area. Our clients need your help to mitigate the effects of teacher sickness and absence on children's education. We work closely with schools in the Cramlington, Bedlington, and Blyth areas and are looking for teachers who are flexible and ready to work!
Role overview:
You wouldn't be expected to plan, prepare, or teach anything; you would be expected to cover lessons in the absence of a teacher and ensure the class is staying on task with their work, managing the classroom and helping the students with their work as and when you can.
All we ask is that you:
* Have experience of working with children/young people within the past 2 years
* Have a valid DBS certificate or willingness to apply for one
* Have at least two referees (including at least one child-based reference)
* Are passionate about education and helping our North East children to reach their full potential!
