Hours per week: 3-4 hours per session twice a week
Hourly pay rate: £12.21
I am looking for a PA for my adult son who has learning disabilities. He is of a very gentle nature, enjoys the outdoors, is calm, can walk short distances and is non-verbal. I am looking for someone to take care of him twice a week for 3-4 hours per session.
Days of the week needed are either a Tuesday or Thursday and every Saturday (2 days overall per week). We are happy to discuss timings and are flexible. We require him to be taken out to explore during these sessions, help with feeding, and personal help if the bathroom is needed.
I am looking for someone to become good friends with my son and build a strong rapport with him. He is very calm and gentle and enjoys some playful attention. I would like this person to be caring and honest and be able to build a great friendship with my son.
I would like my son to be taken out and experience different things for example into town or bowling. I am hoping to ensure my son has a good quality of life and he loves going out so I want this person to mainly assist with this please.
Duties include:
Personal grooming
Eating and drinking assistance
Moving and handling
Other relevant duties as required
Transportation
Companionship
Dressing / undressing
Bathroom assistance
I would like my son to be taken out and experience different things for example
into town or bowling. I am hoping to ensure my son has a good quality of life
and he loves going out so I want this person to mainly assist with this please.
Candidate qualities:
