School Cleaner – St Padarn’s Roman Catholic Primary School
We are looking to recruit a cleaner to undertake various cleaning responsibilities at St Padarn’s Roman Catholic Primary School, ensuring that the school is kept in a clean and hygienic condition.
The Cleaning Service provides an essential service throughout the County of Ceredigion. The purpose of the role is to undertake cleaning tasks, providing a high standard of service ensuring a safe and hygienic environment.
While experience and knowledge of Health and Safety would be advantageous, full training will be provided. Good communication skills are required.
All roles will require flexibility in terms of location and hours worked, which could include early mornings and evenings.
On a day-to-day basis, the tasks will include cleaning, washing, sweeping, vacuum cleaning, emptying litter bins, damp wiping, and dusting of designated areas (which may include toilet and shower areas) and fixtures and fittings, using the necessary powered equipment where appropriate.
We are looking for an individual who is motivated and enthusiastic about the nature of the work, with a flexible attitude and the ability to carry out various duties with a variable work schedule.
Please note that a successful applicant without the required Welsh language skill will be fully supported to reach the required standard within two years of appointment.
