HR Advisor
Salary: £17.54 - £18.99 per hour (PAYE)
Location: Hybrid
Duration: 3 months (temp to perm)
About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated HR Advisor to provide comprehensive and pragmatic HR support and advice to managers, employees, and partners. This role involves ensuring compliance with employment legislation, organizational policies, and best practices while supporting various HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, and change management.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide professional HR advice across a range of areas, including recruitment, employee relations, and absence management.
* Support managers with disciplinary, grievance, and performance management processes.
* Assist with change management initiatives, including restructures and TUPE processes.
* Deliver HR-related training sessions and contribute to staff learning and development.
* Ensure compliance with employment legislation and council policies.
* Manage HR records in line with GDPR and Data Protection regulations.
* Support the implementation of the HR & OD Strategy and other corporate initiatives.
About You
We are looking for an experienced HR professional with:
* GCSEs (or equivalent) in Mathematics and English (Grade C or above).
* Associate Membership of CIPD or equivalent compensatory knowledge and skills.
* Experience in a similar HR advisory capacity.
* Strong communication, organizational, and influencing skills.
* The ability to manage workloads effectively and deliver high-quality outcomes under pressure.
