Project Manager – UK Midlands

Our client is currently seeking a Project Manager to join their expanding UK team.

Key Responsibilities:
* Lead one or multiple project teams to ensure contracts are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with company policies and current health and safety regulations.
* Support the Project Surveyor in managing and controlling contract costs and variations, with regular reporting on cost projections and project status to the Project Director/Contracts Manager.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with clients.
* Oversee and evaluate subcontractors' work quality and their ability to meet project timelines and scope requirements.
* Manage project risks effectively.
* Collaborate with design teams to ensure design deliverables are met on time and to the required standard.
* Maintain excellent relationships with the management team, subcontractors, and clients.
* Plan and schedule project works efficiently.
Skills & Experience Required:
* Degree-level qualification in Construction or a related field.
* Minimum of 8 years' experience, with at least 2 years in a Project Management role.
* Experience working with a recognised main contractor.
* Strong commitment to Health & Safety, Quality, and Environmental management throughout all project stages.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Strong time management and organisational abilities.
* Proficiency in IT, including Microsoft Office packages and MS Project (or similar scheduling tools).
* Proven experience in delivering large-scale industrial or civil projects, ideally including RC works, earthworks, and underground services.
* Ability to manage projects ranging in value from £3m to £25m, overseeing them from design through to completion. The role may require managing multiple projects simultaneously.
