The company specializes in B2B exhibitions, permanent installations, and equipment hire, and is searching for talented sales professionals to connect with event agencies, stand builders, production companies, associations, and institutions.

This newly formed audio-visual company combines years of expertise in professional audio-visual equipment with a commitment to enhancing service offerings and elevating the quality of event delivery across the UK.
THE ROLE
As a Business Development Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in the company's success. Reporting to the Managing Director, you'll be responsible for executing targeted sales campaigns and reaching out to senior decision-makers across various industries.
You will begin working at their brand new offices in Staffordshire 5 days a week; however, once settled into the role, they will offer flexible working with WFH options of 2-3 days per week.
Your key responsibilities will include:
1. Building and managing an evolving list of relevant leads.
2. Skillfully managing and updating the company's CRM system (Current RMS).
3. Introducing and pitching products and services through cold calling and emailing.
4. Handling objections adeptly and guiding potential customers through the sales funnel.
5. Engaging in face-to-face sales with domestic and international travel to third-party events.

THE CANDIDATE
Are you the ideal fit for this dynamic team? We are seeking an entrepreneurial, driven, and persuasive individual with a keen interest in AV technologies. Candidates should have direct exhibition or AV sales experience and be able to confidently consult clients on the products in terms of their technical specifications and needs.
The perfect candidate will possess:
1. Experience in telephone-based sales and an excellent telephone manner.
2. High aspirations for substantial earnings and a strong desire to progress in a sales career.
3. Self-motivation and exceptional organizational skills.
4. Resilience and comfort in conversing with senior decision-makers, CEOs, and managing directors.
5. Strong written communication skills and proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite.
6. A good knowledge of current technologies, including video walls and AV equipment.
